Konami’s PES 2012 will receive the first DLC at the game’s launch which updates the rosters with all the current transfers. In addition, the DLC also updates the skill parameters of players and kits of several club teams.
“In total 160 clubs will be updated, with hundreds of players benefiting from more realistic stats and abilities that are tailored to their real-life playing style,” says Konami.

As an avid soccer fan, every year about this time I obsess about the two soccer gaming giants – Fifa and Pro Evolution Soccer. Both titles don’t always deliver every year though in terms of progression. Some years are treated to tweaks rather than evolution and us die-hard fans feel a little short-changed. From reading through the first reviews for the latest Fifa and PES titles, it certainly seems as this though year won’t disappoint.
A new PES 2012 demo is available today for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. The new demo features a 10-minute match and Challenge Training and includes Tottenham Hotspur, FC Bayern Munich, FC Internazionale Milano, Rangers FC, Club America and Sport Club Internacional.
The PES 2012 packshots have been revealed and come adorned with Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo. The game launches on multiple platforms from October 14.
