The (real) Rugby World Cup has already started and some people in the southern hemisphere have probably already won the virtual rugby world cup for their respective country, but the UK is still waiting for the second of this year’s rugby union games to arrive on their shelves.
Apparently, the release window has been narrowed to between 23rd September and 21st October for the UK. According to Home Entertainment Suppliers managing director Sebastian Giompaolo said he UK launch had run into “a few unforeseen issues”.
The game with as many titles as countries it’s being released in has been dated. All Blacks Rugby Challenge releases in New Zealand on September 2, Wallabies Rugby Challenge releases in Australia on September 8, and Jonah Lomu Rugby Challenge – its name for South Africa and the rest of the world – releases in South Africa on September 8.
Strangely, ‘the rest of the world’ appears to have no release date.
