Square Enix has announced the ‘Treasures of the Sun’ downloadable content for their RPG that will add “hours of hack ‘n slash gameplay”. The DLC will allow the player to venture outside of Ehb to the new Aranoi Desert and will feature a new story arc and new quests.
The DLC is “anticipated” to release in October for $9.99 on Steam, Xbox LIVE and the PlayStation Network.

Dungeon Siege III is an action-rpg that even us junior RPG fans can play without wanting to rip our hair out. It’s a straight forward design yet a rewarding experience. It doesn’t break any new grounds, but does what it’s supposed to well. The few annoyances I had with some elements weren’t enough to detract from the enjoyment I got out. Simple, fun, rewarding.
The demo of Obsidian Entertainment’s Action RPG is now available on PlayStation and on PC via Steam.
The demo for Square Enix’s Dungeon Siege III will release in Europe on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC next month.
The demo arrives on the PC first – almost two weeks before the consoles – on June 7th via Steam. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 demos arrive on June 22nd – after the game itself is released on the 17th of June .
Square Enix has announced today that Dungeon Siege III, which is being developed by Obsidian Entertainment, will be available from 27th May, 2011 with an exclusive Limited Edition available for pre-orders. Square Enix describe the title as “the all-new incarnation of the classic action-RPG franchise will make its debut on high-def home video game consoles.”
