Codemasters’ F1 2011 has been announced to be a launch title for PlayStation Vita on 22nd February 2012 and is currently being developed in a co-development between Sumo Digital and Codemasters Birmingham. THQ today announced that they will be distributing four of Codemasters premier games in North America during 2011.
The four games are DiRT 3, Operation Flashpoint: Red River, BODYCOUNT and F1 2011, which while THQ will handle distribution, Codemasters will continue to handle marketing.
…but oddly, only in North American – and by around six weeks. According to IGN the game will now ship on June 7, 2011 for North America – delayed from its original date of April 26. Codemasters are confident that Operation Flashpoint: Red River takes the tactical military shooter to new levels of intense authenticity.
Codemasters has announced that Operation Flashpoint: Red River will be released on April the 21st in Europe and Australia and in North America on April the 26th.
Codemasters’ DiRT 3 will be released globally on May 24 on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
