It was first a rumour. Then it appeared to be ‘officially’ confirmed. Now, it was all a joke. A cruel one, it has to be said.The source of it all is a slide during Bungie engineer David Aldridge’s GDC presentation. As Bungie.net reports, “in rehearsal Aldridge was convinced that everybody got the joke…” LOL?
The rumour that spread like wildfire around the internet is now confirmed that, yes, Bungie is making a “massively multiplayer” game. No it’s not World of Warcraft in space. It’s called ‘Destiny’ according to Kotaku. And that’s pretty much all that’s known for now.
