DICE have detailed – via PlayStaion.Blog – some of the changes you (yes, you) have helped them make following the open Beta for Battlefield 3. There are apparently “hundreds of changes and additions” being made before the game’s launch. Erm. That’s next week you know?
The Battlefield 3 Beta is over (in case you didn’t notice) and the Battlefield Blog has posted some stats from the open Beta. Congrats to you over 8 million participants – especially to the chap (or lady) who hit the 635.6 meter headshot.
Despite concerns raised by gamers over the Battlefield 3 Beta, DICE Creative Director, Lars Gustavsson has told IGN that the beta was truly a “huge success” for the studio. “We could have been better in how we messaged this to the community, what we were doing and why it’s not as polished as a final demo but there is a reason we called it a beta and not a demo,” he explained.

The Battlefield 3 Beta is kicking off on 29 September on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC with a select few gaining access a few days earlier on 27 September. The Beta ends 10 October.
Some of the critical FAQ’s can be found below or on the Battlefield 3 website.
Game Front is reporting that emails have been received today by gamers who registered their Medal of Honor Limited Edition, which informed them that they would still be in line to experience the Battlefield 3 Beta early – as promised by the sticker on the cover of the game. The Beta will be rolling out during September.
That’s me a pretty happy camper – I still have my Medal of Honor LE.
