According to a report from Eurogamer, Sony’s new PlayStation Portable – PSP-3000 – has touch controls on the reverse of the unit. This news comes from three separate development sources of the site who have seen and used the new PSP.
Surprisingly, Sony is not showing the 3000 to the public at GamesCom, already showcasing the handheld to publishers using several first-party games. Sony has has even decided on its business model for the device, so why not show it at GamesCom?
The PSP-3000 is more than likely going to use a flash media support, similar to the PSPgo.
