And so says an expert analyst. Because no-one else has thought it yet.
That’s according to Sterne Agee analyst Arvind Bhatia, who says now that Infinity Ward is slowly being whittled down, Bungie should take over the Call of Duty series.
“We feel that, if needed, Bungie would be a very good potential fit to replace Infinity Ward on development of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare franchise in the future,” he said.
However, Bhatia acknowledged that he does see a ‘low probability’ of this actually happening.
So there is definitely Life after Halo for Bungie. Not that there was any doubt before.
