On Saturday, 16 February 2013 from 10h00 at the V&A Waterfront canals 128 (yes, 128) gamers will be challenged to play racing games, sports games, shooting games, casual games and fighting games to “determine an overall winner and sole title of The Mountain Dew Ultimate Gamer.”
Entry fee into The Mountain Dew Ultimate Gamer is FREE for all competitors and also includes access to the “most intense action and extreme sports in South Africa featuring FMX Freestyle, BMX, Skateboarding and Wakeboarding competitions.”
Throughout the day, players will be tested in multiplayer, 1 vs. 1 challenges and as well as single player variations (including time trials), with the top 16 players advancing to the finals.
You will need to be 16 years of age or older in order to enter and compete in the event. If that is you, and you fancy yourself a gaming fanatic then REGISTER HERE, now.
Once the registration process is complete, gamers will be required to collect their Ultimate Gamer accreditation at the V&A Waterfront on Friday, 15th February 2013 from 14h00.
