If you were waiting and wondering what happened to Hei$t, then let me put you out of your misery. Codemasters has completely cancelled the retro crime based action game.
Apparently Codemasters is streamlining its portfolio with focus shifting to fewer, internally developed games rather than development partnerships, making Hei$t one of the first casualties of this change.
CVG reported that they have had word from Codemasters, which confirms that Heist has been completely canned and will not reappear at a later date.
“Codemasters is focusing its future portfolio on high quality titles that will, in the majority, be developed and produced by our internal studios.”
