Based on feedback EA Sports gathered, the SSX dev team aim to “bring back the classic SSX experience” with the upcoming ‘Mt. Eddie & Classic Characters’ DLC.
The devs also want the game to look like the SSX of years gone-by, and so they’ve added seven classic SSX Characters: Elise, Eddie, Kaori, Mac, Moby, Psymon, and Zoe.
EA Sports write on the official blog that “to complete the trifecta, they needed it to sound like old school SSX,” and so the music of fan favourite previous SSX titles are coming back with 3 classic tracks.
“To bring the noise we turned to original SSX tracks “Top Bomb” and “Gin and Sin” by John Morgan. Appearing both in 2000’s SSX and later in SSX Tricky, these tracks set the retro vibe for gamers while they carve the slopes with their favorite retro character,” reads the blog.
The music tracks drops with the DLC on May 1st.
