Ubisoft and gaming portal, Kongregate have partnered up for a new game development contest with first prize of $10,000. The contest is to promote the release of the forthcoming Child of Eden. Entrants are challenge “to electrify the senses by creating a game that synchronises music and unique gameplay”.
The grand prize is $10,000, with second place winning $3,000 and third place $2,000. Initial entries will be voted on by the Kongregate community, with the top 25 entering a final round of judging overseen by Mizuguchi and GameSpot editor Ricardo Torres.
Entries close on June 21, where Game director – Tetsuya Mizuguchi will judge entries.
