Oberon Media, the world’s leading multi-platform casual games company, today announced the launch of I-playTV on DISH Network. A brand-new entirely TV-themed game service, I-playTV will bring top-notch games to the television screen from high-profile partners including Endemol, a world leader in entertainment programming, with original games featuring today’s top movies and television programs. Available beginning today, the channel will be available to most DISH Network subscribers for a $4 per month unlimited game pass subscription fee.
The launch of I-playTV marks the first time that Endemol’s iconic game shows will be available to play on DISH Network beginning with the widely popular Deal Or No Deal. Another popular Endemol game show, 1 vs. 100, is slated to launch later. Other games available at launch include a horoscope adventure title featuring famous films and movie stars called Hidden Stars. I-playTV will be updated monthly to provide a steady stream of fun and fresh TV-themed games to the customer, a style similar to monthly magazine editions. Brand new games will be added throughout the year. As part of the channel appeal, I-playTV will be having monthly “Showdowns,” where prizes will be awarded to top scorers, and “Lucky Draws,” where random prizes are given away through numerous sweepstakes.
