Sony will be giving a PlayStation 4 keynote address at the Tokyo Game Show on 19 September. Other than being entitled ‘The World PlayStation 4 Creates’, no other information is known at present. [More on Gematsu]

Developers on the PS4 can dynamically adjust what parts of their games are downloaded by consumers first, meaning that more in-demand content can be prioritised to ensure that the most in-demand content becomes playable while the rest downloads in the background. [More on CVG]

The Xbox One DVR (which records in-game footage to cloud) will record at a fixed framerate and resolution irrespective of the game’s settings. The DVR will play back at 720p and at 30fps. [More on IGN]

The second screen ‘Battlemap’ feature in Battlefield 4 will not be available on Xbox 360 and PS3 and will only work on PC and next-gen versions of the game. The new Battlelog will be available on all versions of the game. [More on Engadget]
