Xbox One

A hidden menu on retail units of the Xbox One – which can be accessed via a button code – takes users to the ‘Developer Settings’. Developer-orientated menu options are available but Microsoft has advised against accessing this menu as “changing these settings as it could result in their Xbox One becoming unusable. Customers who have put their consoles into this developer setting can revert by restoring factory defaults under Settings / System, select Restore Factory Defaults.” [More on Kotaku]

The Nvidia Shield will support 1080p game streaming following an upcoming update for the GameStream function.


Updates for Battlefield 4 on the PC, PS4, Xbox One and PS3 are expected this week. The PC and PS4 versions are scheduled for update today with the others expected later this week.

Square Enix has at least two new trailers lined up for Saturday’s Spike VGX event. [via CVG]

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution will be heading to the EU and US markets in 2014 for Xbox 360 and PS3. The game will feature 100 playable characters from the entire Naruto and Naruto Shippuden anime series, including a “brand new character designed by Naruto manga creator Masashi Kishimoto”. A campaign expansion for Total War Rome 2 has been announced. The expansion will release on 12 December 12 and cost £9.99/€14.99/$14.99. Players will be able to choose from four playable factions – Gallic Arverni, Germanic Suebi, Belgic Nervii and Rome – in a conflict inspired by Caesar’s Commentaries on the Gallic War.
