A third update for Assassin’s Creed Unity is planned, details of which can be found here. This follows two hastily released updates for the game on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
A 2.44GB update for Destiny has been released. The update delivers “new content in the lead up to The Dark Below” as well as providing “new social features, revisions to activities, alterations to competitive spaces” and “adjustments to the player overall experience”. Frontier has decided to ditch the offline mode for their space game Elite: Dangerous, as they feel it “would be unacceptably limited and static compared to the dynamic, ever unfolding experience we are delivering”. [More…]

Red Faction Guerrilla is now available for free for Games with Gold on Xbox 360 until the end of November. The download weighs in at 6.4 GB, and normally costs £14.99 / $19.99.
Industry
100 of the around 800 cartridges from the Atari ET landfill have been sold on eBay for a total of $37,000 (£23k). The rest will go on sale in the future, while another 500 cartridges have been sent to museums around the world. [More…]

The Season Pass trailer for LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham. The press release says the “Season Pass will include six add-on content packs that feature unique themed levels, stories and free play modes.
