Ubisoft’s Raving Rabbids are about to hit the tube…as in TV. Ubisoft is reportedly to partner up British animation studio Aardman [Wallace and Gromit], as revealed by a job listing sent out by the Aardman.
The Rabbids franchise has been a runaway success on the gaming front, initially for the Wii then spanned out to Playstation 2 and Xbox 360, and now the Rabbids will get a show, to be produced by Aardman who certainly have a good track record in animation. The Rabbids tv show is said to be a combination of computer-generated animation and live action.
Details on the show are sketchy at this time, but ‘ Travel in Time’ was also developed by Aardman, and features a short movie – which the image above is a still from – that gives an idea of what we might be able to expect.
