Backbreaker 2 in the works for iOS

Developer NaturalMotion has set up a new publishing division and plans to release titles for digital devices reports GamesIndustryBiz. The studios first titles in development are Jenga and Backbreaker 2 for iOS devices.

The studio are best known for middleware tech Morpheme and Euphoria which was used in Grand Theft Auto IV and Star Wars: The Force Unleash, and recently developed the full title – Backbreaker.

“NaturalMotion Games’ mission is to deliver high-end games that are accessible and socially connected,” commented Torsten Reil, CEO. “We believe there is a significant opportunity in combining the ease of use and connectivity of social games with the stunning performance of modern devices such iOS, Android and consoles.”

Although Backbreaker for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 was not widely reviewed, and did not receive the greatest score by those who did review it, many gamers report that it was a positive football experience. It was best described as “tackle football like never before,”  where the action was said to be “never the same and every hit looks and feels as realistic as a Sunday afternoon.”
