Yes. You have read that correctly. South Africa has been offered a slot for one team to participate in this year’s Call of Duty Championship to be held in Los Angeles over 5 to 7 April.

With a prize packet of one million US dollars, this is most likely only a dream for most teams, but fear not, you and your team can still have a go at being the team to represent SA at this prestigious event, with all expenses paid for… only if you win the $400 000 first prize. We kid.
Well, we don’t kid about the fact that a four man team will be playing in Los Angeles. Or that all the expenses are paid for. You will just need to ensure your four man team consists of:
- Four players over 18.
- Four players with a valid passport.
- The ability to take the time off needed.
- This weekend free to play in the trials.
- And the skill to beat all the other teams in South Africa who also want to play in L.A.
