rAge 2018 is just around the corner. To be exact, it’s around the corner if you live in Northgate, but a little further if you live elsewhere. However, I digress. The important thing here is that come 5 to 7 October, rAge 2018 is on at the Ticketpro Dome and if you are attending, you stand the chance to win one of (counts on fingers quickly) six Xbox One consoles and other goodies if you play some Fortnite.
On any of the three days of the expo, head to the Xbox stand (which is number 50 if you’re counting or looking by number) and join the queue (no pre-registration is required) to compete in the Fortnite event being hosted by Xbox South Africa, NAG, rAge and ACGL. And before you ask, yes, that means you will be playing on (supplied) Xbox One consoles only. Why? Because it’s an Xbox South Africa co-hosted event. Duh.
At the end of each day of rAge, the top three players on the scoreboard will be awarded prizes based on their placing. First place gets a shiny Xbox One X, with second place bagging a Xbox One S and third place walking off with a limited edition Xbox controller and 12-month Xbox LIVE subscription. You will need to kill your fellow competitors (virtually of course) for points (a single point is awarded per elimination) and you will secure bonus points (three of them) for a Victory Royale. In the event of a tie, the placing will be decided on the number of Victory Royales earned. Should that still be a tie, a special tie-breaker will be hosted.
