R20,000 cash up for grabs in the Call of Duty Warzone Showdown 

South Africa, 12 October 2020 – Gaming hardware supplier Predator Gaming is pleased to announce the Predator Showdown with South African tournament operator African Cyber Gaming League (ACGL). 

Participants will compete weekly for their share of the R20,000 in cash up for grabs in this Call of Duty Warzone tournament series.  

Every Wednesday night during the course of the series, COD: Warzone squads can drop in and compete in the qualifier on ACGL. The top four teams on the night will secure spots in the weekly finale hosted on the Friday. 

These four qualifying teams will face off in a single elimination bracket alongside four invited ‘Streamer’ squads and battle for the weekly prize pool of R2,500. The action will be streamed on the ACGL YouTube channel from 19h00.

All competitors in the Predator Showdown will unlock a brand new Avatar Kit to customise their ACGL profile. To secure the avatar, make sure you register for one of the qualifiers on the ACGL site:

  • Week 2: 28 October 
  • Week 3: 4 November 
  • Week 4: 11 November  
  • Week 5: 18 November  
  • Week 6: 25 November 
  • Week 7: 2 December  
  • Week 8: 9 December  

The weekly finals will follow on each Friday.
