Major Neslon, our favourite Xbox blogger, announced via a podcast that they are going to make the Xbox guide faster with the next Xbox update. Already here in SA with last weeks update people have been experiencing faster downloads.
Major Nelson confirmed “we are making the guide faster,” he continued candidly “the team has done some really good stuff around making performance enhancement. Performance enhancements’ doesn’t sound right because it sounds like we’re going to give the guide a little blue pill. And we’re not doing that.” .Major Nelson has been very involved in the project.
He said that it will not be named the NNXE, it will be better and more feature filled. ZUNE HD video streaming, Avatar Marketplace and Games on demand are amongst some of the biggest new features that will be added.
We can expect the update later this year.
