New PS4 titles will be revealed on Spike TV on 14 November. [More on CVG]

Need for Speed Rivals has had its US release date brought forward to 15 November to now be a PS4 launch title.

The 720p resolution of Call of Duty: Ghosts on the Xbox One is due to resource allocation issues on Microsoft’s console according to Infinity Ward’s Mark Rubin. [More on Eurogamer]

The ‘LaFerrari Car Pack’ will release on 22 November for Forza 5. This is the launch day of the Xbox One in the US. Microsoft has also confirmed that the Forza 5 ‘Car Pass’ DLC bundle will cost $49.99 – an 18 percent discount over buying each pack individually. [More on Xbox Wire]

Konami has confirmed that Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes – the prelude to Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain – will be released as a standalone game in spring 2014. Boxed version of the game on PS3 and Xbox 360 will retail at £29.99/€29.99, while the digital versions will retail for £19.99/€19.99. The PS4 and Xbox One digital versions will retail for £29.99/€29.99. [More on AllGamesBeta]

Bungie feels that making Destiny for the PC would spread them too thin and they would rather focus on the console versions of their game. [More on IGN]

The mission rating feature in Assassin’s Creed IV has revealed an early favourite – Sequence 02 Memory 06: The Treasure Fleet. However, Ubisoft are “still in the early stages of collecting data.” [More on NowGamer]

Sega has posted a first half financial year profit on the back 800,00 copies of Total War Rome 2 sales. [More on CVG]

Pictures of the first Steam Machine have appeared online. Looks pretty darn big. Valve has also said that it will not make – nor will it encourage the making of – games exclusive to SteamOS or Steam Machines, as it “would go against our whole philosophy.” [More on IGN]

Valve has also revealed that it is actively seeking to make offline mode on Steam indefinite, as the two week verification requirement is actually a bug. [More on Eurogamer]

A new PS Vita firmware update (3.00) adds PS4 Link which allows users to remotely play the console’s games on their handheld (where supported), and also facilitates second screen gameplay.

Gran Turismo 6 will feature up to 1200 cars and 100 track layouts. A GPS Logger feature will also be released post launch, which will use the player’s phone or tablet GPS functionality in order to recreate tracks based on their daily commutes in the game’s Course Maker.
