A new update and the second in the three-part DLC series of Dark Souls 2 has been released. The ‘Crown of the Old Iron King’ is priced at £7.99 and weighs in at 717.03 MB.

Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham has been dated for release in the UK on 14 November.

Ten new Rockstar Verified Jobs have been added to GTA Online. The new additions include “technical Races designed to please speed junkies, Capture Jobs that take Prop placement to the next level and a pair of Deathmatches with plenty of opportunities for imaginative carnage.” Full details can be found here.

OlliOlli will be out for PS3 and PS4 this week and all PlayStation versions will cross-buy and cross-save compatible.

Yakuza Zero (or Yakuza 0) has been announced for the PS4 and PS3 and will be a prequel set in December 1988 and in the fictional Tokyo and Osaka districts. The game seems unlikely to see a western release. [More…]

Initial comments made suggested that The Crew may only run at 30fps across all platforms, including PC. However, it seems that Ubisoft are “aiming at a 60 FPS on PC for the launch of the game” so all the panicking PC gamers may rest easy for now. [More…]

ZeniMax has announced a loyalty program for Elder Scrolls Online players. From September, the first confirmed subscriber reward – for those that have paid for three months – will be a High Hrothgar Wraith vanity pet. The program will be expanded and the reward for those that have subscribed for six months will be revealed soon. A new patch has also been released and version 1.3.5 resolves issues with quests, brings fixes for gameplay, dungeons and NPCs.

EVE Online‘s ‘Hyperion’ update is now available and launches “some big additions to agent missions and wormholes”. You can find out all about the update here.

Optional PS3 update 4.65 is now available and  is a “minor” update that “improves stability during the use of some features”. [via Twitter]

Sales & Discounts

This week’s Deals with Gold are now available and Need for Speed fans you are truly catered for on both the Xbox One and Xbox 360. The Xbox 360 gets plenty more than that however, and Crysis 3, Skyrim, Watch_Dogs and the ‘Xbox Binge Watch and Play Sale’ is available. Details here.

The US PS Store update is live and brings the usual array of new titles (Metro Redux, The Golf Club and more), pre-order titles (NHL 15) and more. Of course, it wouldn’t be an update without discounted items and this week there’s Call of Duty, Pixeljunk and more represented, as well as the PAX Prime sale. Additional details can be found here.

A second free update for EA Sports UFC has been released and brings three new UFC fighters – welterweight’s Matt “The Immortal” Brown and Mike “Quicksand” Pyle, and heavyweight Stipe Milocic. Alongside the fighters, a number of gameplay additions and improvements have been brought about.

A Pokemon arcade fighting game has been announced. Pokken Tournament looks set for Japanese arcades in 2015, with plans for a western release not revealed yet. [More…]
