An analyst – yes, we know how much you love them – has predicted that Xbox One may outship the PS4 by as much as 3-to-1, due to Microsoft’s change in online and used-games policies. [More on GI International]

A Black Ops 2 title update has hit the Xbox 360 (and presumably PS3 and PC soon). A number of weapon tweaks have been made to go along with preparation for personalisation packs. Full details are available on CVG.

The Mad Hatter will be making a return in Batman: Arkham Origins in a bigger role than he had in Arkham City. [via VG247]

Sega has quietly released DLC for Aliens: Colonial Marines. The DLC is campaign content and tells the story of what happened to Hicks between Aliens and Alien 3 and is called ‘Stasis Interrupted’. This final piece of DLC weighs in at 2.02 GB on Xbox Live, and costs 800MSP or is free to Season Pass holders.

Take-Two has filed two new trademarks for Rockstar North’s Agent. It would appear that the game is not dead yet. [More on Siliconera]

The petition to get GTA V to PC is closing in on 215 000, but the game is still only confirmed for Xbox 360 and PS3… for now.

A new Tomb Raider comic book – due for release in February 2014 – will be set after the events of the most recent game and “will lead directly into the sequel”. [More on Kotaku]

Eidos Montreal boss Stephane D’Astous has resigned due to “irreconcilable differences” with studio partners, as well as claiming there is a “lack of courage” and “leadership” in the company. [More on Develop] and [More on CVG]

Stealth Inc is out on PS3 and Vita in the US, priced at $9.99, and will be  out today in Europe for £7.99/€9.99.

EA is not expecting a spike in spending during the next-generation transition – unlike previous times. The Frostbite 3 engine will ensure a smooth transition with no additional spending, as the engine is already ready and no additional funding needs to be spent on developing it for next-gen. EA‘s digital sales have surpassed boxed sales in the last three months ending 30 June. [More on CVG] Origin has also surpassed 50 million users with 22 million being registered mobile users.

A number of Atari IPs have been sold as part of the company’s bankruptcy auction, including Star Control and Battlezone. [More on CVG]

Capcom will be announcing 13 new mobile and social games on 1 August. The games will be revealed during a livestream which will take place at 5.30pm in Japan (9.30am UK time, 4.30am Eastern).

A Gran Turismo movie is reportedly in the works. Yawn. Isn’t there enough bad movies about games to still add to the even higher number of bad movies about cars? [More on CVG]
