Payday 2 on the PS3 is being added to the US PlayStation Store’s Instant Game Collection for PS Plus subscribers from today.

Sony has tweeted that it has more than 100 games planned for release for the PS4 in 2014. They didn’t list the games…

The release date for Watch Dogs has been set for between April and June of this year according to Ubisoft, with a specific date being announced soon. The Wii U version of the game has also been confirmed as delayed. [More on AllGamesBeta]

The Achievements for South Park: The Stick of Truth have hit the internet. The Achievements are both un-PC and laced with true South Park humour. Full list of Achievements available on

Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate Deluxe Edition looks to be heading to the Xbox 360 according to a listing on the Xbox Marketplace website. There’s no price or release date given as yet.

Phil Spencer has suggested that an Xbox One beta for Project Spark may launch as early as next week. [via Twitter]

A listing on Origin suggests that Battlefield 4‘s ‘Second Assault’ DLC will be out from 18 February. [More on CVG]

Rebellion Software’s Jean-Baptiste Bolcato has told GamingBolt how difficult it was for the studio to render Sniper Elite 3 at 1080p for the Xbox One. This is due to the console’s small eSRAM but the studio has solved the issue and they’re on “fine ground now but the first few months were hell.”

Worms Battlegrounds has been confirmed for the Xbox One and PS4. The game is due in 2014 and will be self-published on the Xbox One under the ID@Xbox program.

Sony has announced that God of War and Sly Cooper will be heading to the PS Vita by way of ‘Collections’. Sly Cooper will feature the three PS2 games and will be available in the EU on 16 April and in the US on 27 May. The God of War Collection will have the first two games and will be available US on 6 May 6 and in the EU on 8 May. [More on PlayStation Blog]


Xbox One Chrome ControllerTwo new chrome Xbox One controllers have been announced for the US. The new controllers will be available in Purple and Black via selected retailers as per Major Nelson.

SCEA’s marketing VP John Koller has revealed that around 90% of all PS4s in the US are connected online, and that around 48 million screenshots and videos have been shared globally already. Roughly 1.7 million hours of live gameplay footage has been transmitted and gamers have played online for around 172 million hours combined globally.


Assassin’s Creed IV has shipped around ten million units from release until 31 December 2013. Ubisoft is expecting sales to hit 11 million by the end of March. [More on CVG]

While Assassin’s Creed IV is a silver lining. Ubisoft has revealed that Rocksmith 2014 shipped just one million copies in a third financial quarter of 2013/2014 which saw company sales down by 35% compared to the same period in the previous year.

Original Dungeon Keeper creator, Peter Molyneux, has described EA’s microtransaction-heavy iOS and Android reboot of the serious as “ridiculous”. [More on CVG]
