Expect the switch from PS3 to PS4 to be “a gradual process” with Sony planning to support the PS3 for some time still. [via Kotaku]

“It’s not going to matter,” says Xbox’s Albert Penello. He is referring to the technical specification comparisons being made between the Xbox One and PS4, and even going on to call the comparisons “meaningless”. [via CVG]

Microsoft is working on a solution for Xbox 360 third-party headsets to be usable on the Xbox One via an adapter, most likely to be detailed closer to the launch of the Xbox One. [via Polygon]

An app for the Xbox 360 which will allow gold members in the US access to “up to 300 Time Warner live TV channels” will go live later this year. Why anyone outside of the US should care is beyond us. [via CVG]

The GameStop Expo in August is looking like the first public opportunity for hands-on time with the Xbox One and PS4. The event takes place on 28 August from 11am (Pacific Time) at the Sands Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada.

It seems the first BioShock Infinite DLC info will drop at the end of July. That’s at least according to Geoff Keighley on Twitter.

Ubisoft’s The Division will allow players to “co-op and jump in and jump out at any time,” while “in certain areas, you can also seamlessly engage in PvP and experience suspenseful scenarios where danger can come from anywhere and anyone.” The game sounds better and better with every little detail. According to recently released data, game demos half the number of sales of a game, while trailers without hands-on opportunities appear to have a more positive commercial effect. [via CVG]

The Serious Sam Collection has been announced for Xbox 360 and comes with four Serious Sam games including HD remasters of Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter, The Second Encounter, Serious Sam 3: BFE with the Jewel of the Nile DLC and the side scroller Serious Sam Double D XXL. The collection will be available from 13 July. [via CVG]
