Hey guys! Jaco Bruwer here, better known as Ninja Pete ZA. I am a teacher by day and serious gamer by night. I am 27 years old and have been gaming since I can remember and am not planning to stop any time soon!!!
What’s you platform of choice? Why?
I am a Xbox 360 man, I started on PC back in the day but since I switched over to console I prefer Xbox, for one its not a tiny controller in my hand that feels like it’s gonna brake every time I might rage at something (yes that does happen), and the multiplayer community is just awesum!
Can you remember the first time you ‘gamed’?
Joh…I think I was about 7 playing Battle City and Ghalaga with my dad, but the game that really got me hooked was the first Half Life on PC, since then there has been no looking back.
How long have you been gaming?
Like I said, since I was 7 so that would make it round about 20years now, scary part is my gaming age is older than some of the people I game with! Is that sad…….dunno lol.
When do you think you’ll stop gaming?
I don’t think I will stop in the near or distant future, its part of my life by now, I always tease my girlfriend by telling her one day I am gonna be a Grandpa and still pwoon the kids! Muhahahaha.
Are you a serious gamer? Or do you enjoy a laugh?
Look if you can’t enjoy gaming with a laugh then there’s no point right? But I would say I am a very serious gamer who enjoys the competitiveness that multiplayer has to offer!
Singleplayer or multiplayer?
Both, Singleplayer for the games with the epic campaign modes (DeadSpace, Darksiders, Alan Wake etc) and multiplayer for the competitive gaming side(Gears of War, Modern Warfare etc).
Is playing online important to you?
Very, even if it is just a Singleplayer game I am busy with I am always in a party with clan members having a laugh, since I started online gaming I don’t think I will ever go back to offline gameplay.
Are you a member of a clan? Who are they and why?
Why yes I am! I am a member of War Veteran, better known as >WV<. We have been together for over a year now and still going very strong, these guys are like family! We have to competitive sides WV Elite and WV Chrome and also a couple of casual players who are just in it for the fun. We started on Xbox but are branching out to PS3 and PC now.
Favourite game currently?
Would have to say I spend most of my time on MW3 but also enjoyed Darksiders II a hack of allot, obviously looking forward to Black Ops 2 now and Halo 4(getting myself a ticket to Germany).
Do you have any hobbies outside of gaming? What?
Oh yes, I go to the gym on a daily basis and I enjoy a game of squash(like I said, competitive)and then also don’t get me started on movies……
You’re stranded on a desert island and a genie grants you five items. Name them:
A game: Kingdoms of Amalur (with all those side quest I will be busy for the rest of my life)
A CD: Any Metallica album
A movie or TV series: Criminal Minds
An organic life form: My girlfriend (Cue the Aaaahhhhh moment)
Something edible or drinkable: Can’t go anywhere without a Coke…
What’s the most embarrassing or worst game you’ve ever bought or received as a gift?
It would have to be Sonic the Hedgehog tennis….just don’t ask!
If you were a game designer, describe your ultimate game design.
It would have to be a MW3 style shooter but with a Mortal Kombat combat style mode where you can cross over to hand to hand fighting in a map, now that would be a crazy combo!!!
The zombie apocalypse has happened. You’re facing down a ravenous zombie horde (which may or may not include members of ZG in bikinis). What weapon do you grab?

In the aforementioned zombie apocalypse you humans are all toast. Become a turncoat and assist the superior zombies or stay with the soon to be wiped out human resistance?
You know what they say, everyone likes a underdog, and seeing as we are all toast anyway, I would like to go down swinging.
