ACGL and Debonairs Pizza have announced a new online tournament series across multiple months, multiple titles and multiple platforms. It’s almost a triple-decker. With a crammed-crust. [Yes, we did need to look that up because we’re old school and only know traditional pizza – Undead Ed]

The series will see ladders, cups and random giveaways with cash, products and vouchers up for grabs. Details of what can be expected over the next three months can be found in the Press Release below:

Debonairs Pizza delivers some extra love to local gamers

Cape Town, South Africa, 1st of March 2019 – ACGL is excited to announce the launch of the Debonairs Pizza sponsored series of tournaments, ladders and giveaways, which kick off in March 2019.

Over the next nine months, things will heat up with a series of online events offering cash prize pools and Debonairs Pizza vouchers up for grabs. Across a rotating feast of titles and formats, competitors can secure placement prizes or entry into random draws for achieving specific goals. There will be a total of R90,000 in prizes and R45,000 in pizza up for grabs.

Details of each month’s activities and opportunities will be announced, but prepare yourself with the following key dates over the next three months, with more to follow:

  • From 4 March: FIFA 19 (PS4), Fortnite (PC) and Call of Duty (XB1) ladders with Debonairs Pizza vouchers up for grabs
  • From 23 March: Call of Duty (PS4) cup with R10,000 in prizes and vouchers.
  • From 5 April: Rocket League and League of Legends ladders with Debonairs Pizza vouchers on offer.
  • From 20 April: FIFA 19 Ladder cup with cash and product prizes
  • From 6 May: Fortnite, FIFA 19 and Call of Duty ladders with Debonairs Pizza vouchers on the line
  • From 18 May: Fortnite Ladder Cup with R10,000 cash up for grabs

The cup tournaments will be played out over a set series of weekends and where applicable will feature live streams of the final matches. The ladders will allow players to compete at days and times that suit over the month. A number of Debonairs Pizza vouchers will be awarded via a series of random draws. And you may never know when those might prove handy.
