The 2019 Gaming Forum has been announced and detailed. If you’re around Johannesburg on 29 March, then keep the date available for the annual “high-level gathering of the most influential minds across the gaming industry”. We should point out that at least five of the minds were at the 2018 edition of the event. Well, we do take notice of brains around here you know…

This year’s event changes venue to the Wits Linder Auditorium and will feature ten local and international guest speakers. On the cards this year are “the biggest names and brightest stars from award-winning game developers Ben Myres and Cukia Kimani from Nyamakop, esports personalities Barry ‘Anthrax’ Louzada, Mike ‘axtremes’ Harmse and Sam ‘Tech Girl’ Wright,” as well as “industry household names Pippa Tshabalala and Marco Cocomello.”

Alongside the speakers will be panels, including a tech panel featuring UFD Tech’s Brett Stelmaszek and others. A Razer raffle, snacks and games will be on hand to complete the experience. All this can be yours for the R295 attendance fee, with only alcohol being additional and for your own account. There are 1,000 spots available, with the first 100 people in line for a goodie bag.
