Zombies and Pterodactyls 20XX announced

Yes.  You read correctly.  Zombies.  And Dinosaurs.  In the same game.  How awesome is that?

Ska Studios, who developed Dishwasher: Dead Samurai and Dishwasher: Vampire Smile have announced their next Xbox Live Indie project, Zombies and Pterodactyls 20XX…or ZPK2X for short.

The game will be released as part of the ‘Xbox Live Indie Games Winter Uprising’ during the week of November 28 (and will beat Vampire Smile to market).  It will cost you a mere 80 MS Points (around $1/R15).

Ska Studios’ Xbox Live Indie debut was I MAED A GAM3 W1TH Z0MB1ES 1N IT!!!1 which has gone on to sell 308 000 copies as of last August.  To put that into monetary perspective – at $1 a sale, less Microsoft’s 30% cut, that gives a rather tasty $215 000 for Ska Studios’ James Silva.

Unlike the Dishwasher series this game will take the form of a multiplayer shooter, rather than a side scrolling brawler.

ZP2KX pits humans against zombies, and appears to feature jetpacks, capture the flag, deadly rainbows and Africanized bee-ammunition, in an arena fight to the death all done in Ska Studios’ unique art style.
