Everybody likes some good old rumours right? It gives you something to hope for in bleak times. Or it just makes for good water cooler conversation when the weather won’t cut it any more.

Well, a host of Xbox “leaks” have appeared on NeoGAF, and while everything should be taken with a pinch of salt, there is every good chance that at least some of it has a grain or two of truth. So here’s today’s water cooler conversation items.

Halo 2 Anniversary Edition is due in November (the 11th to be exact) this year on Xbox One and will include beta access to Halo 5. The updated Halo 2 will be 1080p, but the 60fps is “iffy”, “maybe not.” The game will feature multiplayer and is being developed by the same team as Halo Anniversary. There are also two versions of Halo 2 Anniversay planned:

Collectors Edition with the Beta access, the Halo series (not the Blomkamp one)

War Collection with the above, as well as ports of Halo 3 & 4 for XB1.

Halo 5 will now only be out in 2015.

The next Gears of War has an expected development time of two and a half years.

The cancelled Black Tusk game was called “Shangheist.”

Titanfall ConsoleThe first Titanfall DLC will arrive 45 days after the game releases, to be followed by “another one 120 days from release.”

Crackdown 3 is coming… but only in the first quarter of 2016. However, do not expect an announcement about the game this year.

Coming a little earlier than that is Quantum Break and Sunset Overdrive, which are expected in Fall of 2014. Fall being Spring if you live south of the equator.

Forza Horizon 2 is also expected in Fall 2014, “probably September”. The game will feature “super sexy weather system and… shit tons of co-op/social stuff. 1080P and open-world, so you can road trip with your bros.”

Fable Legends is being planned for Summer 2015. There will not be Fable Anniversary for the Xbox One.

There is a white Xbox One expected which will be available to the public, as well as a Limited Edition 1TB Xbox One which will arrive in November. The white console appears to be bundled with “Sunset Overdrive and a fancy ass controller in October.”

A $399 Xbox One is also expected this year, but it “maybe one without an Optical Disc Drive.”

Speaking of hardware release dates, the following list reveals that SA is not getting the console until the second half of the year…

The information comes via “Bish-verified insider ntkrnl but we’d still suggest sprinkling salt over the titbits before digesting. He claims that he is not worried about being caught for the leaks, as he is “incapable of fear. Plus, this is such exciting stuff, and me talking about it ahead of time isn’t going to hurt anything, truthfully. We’re all chomping at the bit for it to come out. This is not bad.” There is plenty more, but we’d suggest you head over to NeoGAF for it all.
