Microsoft is considering implementing a system that will reward well behaved Xbox One Xbox Live users.

Microsoft has not revealed what the rewards will be, just that it is considering rewarding players who contribute positively to the community.

Polygon report that Microsoft development lead, Frank Savage revealed the plan during a talk at GDC.

Savage explained that “if you’re this amazing player everyone wants to be with,” then Xbox Live’s reputation algorithm will recognise this, and in turn the player will be rewarded.

“It’s Microsoft’s way of saying, “Thanks for being such a good member of the community, here’s a reward,” says Savage.

The idea is still in the brainstorming phase at this point, but the plan is to encourage better behavior with its online community.
