WWE 13 – which was basically confirmed by the leaked video over the weekend – has been confirmed by THQ for an October/November release.
The game will ship on Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii on 30 October in the US, 1 November in APAC territories and 2 November in Europe.
WWE 13 promises to return – like its muse for this edition CM Punk did – and “ignite a revolution in the WWE Universe”.
The game will feature the “most authentic, seamless and passionate experience to date” – all while “turning up the attitude”. A new feature being added is WWE Live which will change the “way players embrace the videogame’s audio and presentation elements”. Apparently this will allow players to “live” the WWE events with “ring breaks and barricade crashes”. A chair against the head is optional.
A new “groundbreaking” single player campaign is promised and based on the “highly influential Attitude Era” – apparently a celebrated phase of antihero behaviour in WWE.
The game will bring with it plenty of improved features plus some “surprises”. In the meanwhile enjoy the asset blow-out below.
