Not quite sure who this week’s clan has their sights on for the retribution, but after Undead Ed visited them we’re pretty sure it has something to do with a missing clan mate. Unless he just brought home a random human for supper…
Other than their plans to dish out ‘righteous punishment’ (probably), Retribution Order – or at least some of its members – are the braaaaiiiiiinnnsss behind the Domination Cup happening on an Xbox 360 near you, pretty much from today.
When did Retribution Order form? How many members were there at the birth?
The clan stemmed from an Established American Clan founded by well known player Jeffrey Stewart which slowly died out with the arrival of Black ops 2 and Halo 4. It was taken over by ex Retribution Leader Dangerdeal and turned into Retribution Order. We have mainly created this new group from SA players but have a strong allegiance to Team Syndicate and have a few members from there clan within ReTo and they also scrim with us but mainly we’re an SA clan.
How many members are you currently? Wanna waste time and list them maybe? As many personal details as possible please. We’re not stalkers. Or planning to steal your identities…
Our main members are SnapcaseZA (Mark) from Durban. Dangerdeal (founder, Steve) from PE, Regmaaker (Alex) from Cape Town. All leaders mentioned above have equal rights in organising the clan.
Does the clan have an organisational structure? If yes, what is it?
We stick to recruiting Europeans and South Africans only due to connectivity and time zoning, our objective is to have fun, create a group of friends within the clan and grow onto BF4 tactically and socially growing within the game.
Do you consider yourselves a Battlefield clan? What makes that the game for you?
We are indeed yes, being in this clan is fun and it’s a way for us to all express our individual talents within the game in a fun & tactical way.
What other game(s) you enjoy as a clan?
Some members enjoy BO2 & Fifa 13.
Are you exclusively an Xbox 360 clan?
Yes we are but might be looking into PS3 in the near future.
Are you guys actively recruiting for new players? If so, how should a potential member contact you and how do you decide on who is right to join you?
Do you consider yourselves a competitive clan, or one in it more for “shits and giggles”?
A bit of both actually, we take it seriously and in South Africa were one of the top teams alongside DTF, but we know there are a lot of good SA Players some individually better than some of us so we can’t take it too seriously and get an ego about it, it’s essentially based on having fun with a competitive edge.
Won any tournaments you feel like bragging about?
DTF Squad Rush Tourney SA.
What are you hoping to achieve in the future as a clan?
We are just hoping to achieve a stable name and a good name amongst SA clans, there is a lot of trolling but generally we try and respect all SA players and clans. So our main focus would be longevity, not to die out like the rest.
Which opposing clan(s) do you most respect (or hate…)?
We respect DTF, Fox, MoM, AVi. We hate clans with too much ego.
In regards to professional – or competitive gaming – what do you as a clan think needs to be done to raise the profile of South African gaming?
More options/tournaments for the Xbox platform and definitely more light shed on the world of E-sports in RSA.
Right, let’s have a little fun…
If you weren’t a gaming clan you’d be…
War movie that best describes the clan?
If you guys had a music soundtrack for going to war, what would it be?
Rick Astley – Never Gonna Give You Up
Thanks for your time – is there anything you would like to add before you have to go back to the battlefield again?
Thanks to all the great SA clans and players that game within this community, everyone we’ve dealt with as a clan and all the people that have taught us valuable tactics.
Please note: Clan Q&A’s can be conducted up to five weeks before they are published so some information may already have changed.
If you are keen to feature in this column in the future, please feel free to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll think about – after you’ve sent us a sample of your braaaaaaiiiiinnnnsss.
