If you owned either a PS3 or Xbox 360 copy of Super Street Fighter IV or Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition, you can download Ultra Street Fighter IV as a digital upgrade.

Players who purchase the PSN upgrade of Ultra Street Fighter IV during the first week of release will receive the previously announced 2014 Challengers Costume Pack, consisting of alternate costumes for each of the five new characters, for free of charge shortly after launch.

Ultra Street Fighter IV adds Poison, Hugo, Elena, Rolento and Decapre to the frey, complete with new animations and their own unique play styles, bringing the final roster count to 44 characters.

Capcom says it gathered fan feedback to tweak the core system mechanics “in order to achieve the most balanced Street Fighter ever.”

Ultra also includes a host of new features and modes.

On August 8th, the full digital bundle on PS3 will available as a download, as well as the PC (Steam) digital upgrade and PC (Steam) full digital bundle. Players who purchase the full digital bundles (PS3, PC) will receive all previously released costumes for the series, making this the definitive version of Street Fighter IV.
