We reported earlier this week that the release of Far Cry 3 has been pushed back to the end of November.
A Ubisoft representative has now told GameSpot that no decisions have yet been made on whether the delay will affect the planned beta for the game.
The representative sent GameSpot a statement stating that Ubisoft are still doing their best to make that determination, but the publisher cannot confirm anything at this point.
Ubisoft said earlier that the game’s delay is to ensure the studio can deliver the highest quality package.
“We’re taking more time to create the best possible gameplay experience,” said Dan Hay, producer at Ubisoft in the press release.
“Far Cry 3 is a huge offering and we want every element of this insane, action-packed adventure to be of the highest possible quality for the players.”
