Ubisoft Trademarks 2005 Announced FPS ‘Killing Day’

Ubisoft has filed a new trademark for ‘Killing Day’, a first-person shooter IP that was announced back in 2005.

PlayStation Lifestyle spotted a registration for Killing Day [as cited by Eurogamer] which was first revealed during Sony’s E3 2005 press conference as part of the PlayStation 3 announcement. It was later confirmed for release on Xbox 360.

Whether this is just Ubisoft keeping the name for future use or whether the game will see light of day remains unknown at this time.
