Twitch, one of gamers’ most popular Streaming service, has pulled streams of PS4’s The Playroom from its directory listings, citing that non-gaming related broadcasts were bombarding the service.

“We removed Playroom content from the directory because a majority of it was non-gaming related,” Twitch diplomatically told Polygon.

“We will look into adding it back as PS4 owners become more familiar with the games-only focus of Twitch content.

“In the meantime, you can view all of the amazing gameplay from PS4 broadcasters in this directory page on Twitch.”

Twitch previously warned that it would ban users for posting objectionable and rule-breaking content with The Playroom.

Some users have used The Playroom and the PS4’s recording abilities as a makeshift camcorder to stream personal content.

CVG report that one user got banned from Twitch for using The Playroom to display his partner naked on camera.

Twitch has not commented on when exactly The Playroom will be returned to Twitch directories.
