SterKinekor: THQ gaming distribution now “on hold” in South Africa

Following on the saga revolving around THQ’s filing for voluntary bankruptcy in the USA, the publisher has now put distribution of all gaming titles on hold with immediate effect in South Africa.

SterKinekor Entertainment has released a statement as the sole distributor for THQ in South Africa where CEO Mario Dos Santos offered the following:

“In light of the recent unfortunate events that have taken place within THQ, SterKinekor Entertainment will not at this time be distributing titles previously announced by THQ”.
