Ubisoft Uplay Passport details

Last week the Uplay Passport made its appearance as Ubisoft’s version of the online passes that EA, THQ and others have implemented to combat the second-hand games market.  So what does it mean to you, the gamer?  If you buy a Ubisoft game second-hand and want to play the multiplayer component, expect to pay $9.99 (around R70.00) if the one-time registration code has already been used.
