Looks like Microsoft and LucasArts have worked out the Kinect Star Wars indaba and so it looks like withe game that could really shine with Kinect will land in April sometime. Apparently, the game has been delayed in order for Microsoft and LucasArts to work on achieving the game’s “full potential” and will now miss the holiday 2011 release period. Shame…
According to OXM, no new release date has been given. This delay does mean that those hoping for a Star Wars Limited Edition Console will not be getting one from Santa this year. And that’s the only reason to be disappointed by the game’s delay.

KINECTaku are reporting that a a special R2-D2 themed model of the console is in the works to coincide with the release of Kinect Star Wars. According to a “close source in the retail sector”. Hence the reason we consider it a rumour for now.
