Square Enix Japan has revealed that it plans to launch Final Fantasy III with the launch of the Ouya which is expected to be in March 2013.

CVG are reporting on Square Portal who translated the Japanese announcement, confirming that the legendary Final Fantasy installment was planned for the Android-based console.

CVG also note that more industry studios have pledged support for the Ouya including former Call of Duty developer, Robert Bowling who apparently went as far as to pledge an exclusive for the platform .

Bowling recently left his Call of Duty post and formed a new studio – Robotoki – who have indicated that the Ouya exclusive the studio will develop will be a prequel to post-zombie apocalypse Human Element.

The OnLive cloud-gaming service has also been confirmed for the launch of Ouya.
