A press release was published, confirming that Activision’s upcoming BLUR will intergrate twitter functionality. It’s not even just for random tweets but will have tweets for in the game.
From the developer:
“Players can choose to Tweet about race victories, how many fans they’ve just earned, cars they’ve unlocked, leaderboard ranks, send challenges to friends and much more. Basically, if you see it in game and want to tell someone about it, we’ve got a Tweet for that.”
I admit, it actually sounds quite cool. I mean being able to tweet friends to join etc. Just hope there is the ability to switch it off as I am sure some will go overboard with it and not leave you to play the game.
There will also be a BETA available in March for keys who are selected for public testing.
