Well, that’s been a bit of a different week for us. If you weren’t aware, the Electronics & Gaming Expo hit Cape Town this past weekend, and that pretty much stole all the headlines in South African gaming. Never fear however, there is still plenty more to consider from around the country.

Upcoming Events

There’s a few things on this weekend you may find of interest:

  • Mortal Kombat Cup: The South African qualifier hits the big one this Saturday when the top 16 players from around the country battle for the one spot at the international event in Paris. Details.
  • DBNGamers: The DBNGamers meetup is making a return on Saturday 6 June after a period of inactivity. Head to Badgers in Glenwood from 1pm to talk about E3 and gaming in general. Details.
  • FIFA Tournament: KwaZulu Natal stays the province with the most activity with a FIFA tournament planned at Zig Zag Lounge in Berea Centre. Whether it’s still on or not is unknown, and details can be found by emailing Details.
