A few things you may have missed over the last week:

Zombiegamer Events

T-Fest_Nov 2014_04We’d like to remind you of two events we have coming up in the next ten days or so.

This Saturday (29 November) it’s our final T-Fest event of 2014, and it’s all about shooters, socialising and shopping. Free entry and prizes up for grabs.

On Sunday 7 December we’re hosting the R10K FIFA 15 tournament. Entries are limited to 128 players and that number is getting reached quickly.

If you’re a Call of Duty fan, come January, we have something planned for you, so watch this space.

Bravado Gaming

Bravado_Logo_01Bravado Gaming’s CS: GO team hit Dreamhack this weekend where they will be facing some of the world’s top teams in a battle for their share of $250,000.

The team has spent the last few days preparing at the pre-tournament boot camp. Support the team by giving their Facebook Page a like. Or following them on Twitter.

Ground Zero LAN

Ground Zero LAN in Gauteng scheduled for this Saturday (29 November) has been cancelled due to a mix-up of dates with the venue. The organisation will be hosting some online events and is actively searching for a new venue for future LANs.

The Killah Clowns 5v5 Clash

Killah Clowns_Logo_02PC clan The Killah Clowns kicked off their Battlefield 4 tournament this past weekend. While originally only expected to last the weekend, the tournament has been extended due to loadshedding and the finals will now be played this Friday. nAvTV will be covering the semi-finals and the finals, so tune in to see how the battle for supremacy goes.

**UPDATE**

Loadshedding has continued to hamper things with the tournament and the finals have been rescheduled to an unconfirmed date. Casting has also been taken over by BrettFX.

MSSA

MSSA SA Flag LogoThe 2014 South African National LAN Championships have been confirmed for 6 and 7 December and “marks the start of the process of selecting the 2015 Protea eSports team that will attend the 7th IeSF World Championships.”

Registrations for the Championships will close on the 4 December 2014 and players wishing  to compete are required to have completed their annual registration forms.

Championship Details:

Hosting Club: Tuks Mind sports Club, Pretoria.

  • Venue: Springbok Hall, University of Pretoria.
  • Date: 6 & 7 December 2014
  • Entry Fees: R60.00 per Registered Player per Period
  • Computers: Bring your own. Please ensure that all game updates are done prior to arrival.

Upcoming Events

  • Registrations for the OzoneXPS4 Advanced Warfare tournament is still open. The tournament kicks off on 5 December and will be on PS4.
  • Team Vague‘s online FIFA 15 tournament kicks off 28 November. There’s still a chance to enter, and to do so you need to follow them on Twitter and DM them.
  • Mafikeng’s Crown the King FIFA tournament is this Saturday. Kick off from 10am. Details here.
  • Geekfest 2014 is happening this Saturday from 10am at the Ball and All Driving Range, Pub & Restaurant in Gauteng and promises to be a “fun filled day just for Geeks”. The event page has all the details you need.
  • If you’re near Trenchtown tonight (Wednesday) we will be there with some Call of Duty. Come around and shoot some friends in the face while enjoying specials all night.
