The SA Gaming News Wrap. Pretty much what it says on the tin. News from the SA gaming scene in a neat little wrap. Except it’s not edible or a gift unfortunately.

We’re just going to take this opportunity to remind you of the events we have coming up.

FIFA 15 Cape Town Launch

FIFA 15 Launch_01You can still bag a golden  ticket to the MWEB GameZone FIFA 15 launch event, which is shaping up to be their biggest launch event yet. The launch is on 26 September at MWEB’s Cape Town HQ and up for grabs will be an Xbox One. You have until 23 September to get your entry in by following the instructions laid out here.

TGN Racing Simulators

TGN_Logo_01TGN Racing Simulators have been in operation for quite some time now, and until recently was a Johannesburg only based gaming events organisation offering a variety of gaming equipment hire with a focus on racing simulators (the name should have given that away). The organisation has – when possible – operated events outside of Gauteng, but have made the move to setup a branch in Cape Town to facilitate a growing demand in the ‘Mother City’.

The initial setups are not yet to the scale of Gauteng, but equipment numbers and options will be grown over the coming months. If you want to arrange a quote for your next event, party, or just want more more information on what services are offered, feel free to email

Our congratulations go out to Shuaib ‘Shuaib07’ Hassen who beat Muhammad ‘Zaidy’ Patel 4-2 in the final.

The bracket for tournament can be found here.
