Upcoming Events
ACGL have online tournaments happening over the course of this weekend and into next week, including Fortnite, Call of Duty, Rocket League and more. All the necessary details and registration pages are available here.
A pretty busy weekend this one, so get yourself ready for the following:
- Xbox Playdates ZA June play dates are every Wednesday from 8pm and selected Fridays from 9pm. You can get more information here about the regular gaming play dates for Xbox One players.
- 8th – F1 2017 (Canada)
- 13th – Lazer League
- 20th – EA SPORTS FIFA 18 World Cup
- 22nd – F1 2017 (Malyasia 25% Classic Race)
- 27th – Forza Horizon 3
- Cold Fusion LAN hits Laerskool Edleen in Kempton Park on Friday (8 June) from 6pm and continues until Sunday morning at 11am. A LAN spot is R100 per seat and will feature a variety of tournaments. Additional event information can be found here.
- Mettlestate launch their CS:GO Evetech Champions League with a show match on Sunday (10 June). The match which features a team of legends up against fan-voted Leetpro Esports starts at 4pm and can be viewed here.
- E3 2018 kicks off next week. While not strictly a South African event, we’re willing to bet there isn’t a South African (and African) gamer out there not keen to see what gets revealed. The action starts on 9 June with EA’s presentation and ends on 12 June with Nintendo. SA times and details via SA Gamer:
