It’s not really local, but E3 kicks off coverage on 10 June. It’s important because, well, lots of new gaming stuff and that’s what we’re all about aren’t we?

Upcoming Events

ACGL have online tournaments for Rocket League, Call of Duty Infinite Warfare, Gears of War 4, Halo 5 and Overwatch. Details can be found here. The third heat of the Injustice 2 SA Cup is on this Sunday and interested fighters can register here for a bite at R60,000 and a trip overseas.

Meanwhile, VS Gaming is hosting a variety of legs, cups and other tournaments, while Orena have kicked off their Orena Champions Series. Other events to keep your eye out for:

  • Xbox Playdates ZA are hosting a number of playdates in May. The Thursday events start at 8pm, while the Friday F1 events begin at 9pm. You can get more information here about the regular gaming play dates.

    • 09 – F1 Games from Codemasters F1 2016 (Canada)
