The SA Gaming News Wrap – giving you your weekly dose of local news all wrapped up. Yes. It really is that simple.

How about a few things you may have missed elsewhere:

Upcoming Events

There is plenty happening almost every day at the moment with ongoing events for Telkom DGL as well as the Ballistix Masters and Mettlestate’s Galaxy CS:GO tournament. On top of that, Kosta Games is hosting season two of their FIFA 17 league. Yes, it’s getting busy out there.

Otherwise, there are a few other events happening to keep you entertained:

  • Xbox Playdates ZA are hosting a Rocket League session on Thursday 13 April from 8pm. Join other local gamers as they introduce cars to football. Head here for more information.
  • GAC LAN is back with, you guessed it, a LAN and it will feature a number of tournaments including Call of Duty, CS:GO and more. Otherwise you can just do some socialising at the LAN. The LAN starts at 5pm on Friday (14 April) and runs until 8am on Sunday. Head to the event page for more information.
  • Xbox Playdates ZA returns on Friday from 9pm with an F1 2016 event in conjunction with SA Gamer.
  • ESL Africa kicks off with the first Hearthstone tournament in their R2 million series. For all additional information regarding the event can be found here.

Remember to keep these days open for some upcoming action a little further in the future:
